ICT CHAMBER

The Rwandan ICT Chamber represents the interests of over 300 ICT companies in Rwanda and is thus the central private sector institution for the development of the Rwandan ICT sector. As such, the ICT Chamber is involved in all decision-making processes of the Rwandan government on Rwanda's strategic orientation as East Africa's ICT hub and advises ministries and government organizations on implementation.

BITMI

The Federal Association of IT - SMEs of Germany (BITMI) is the only ICT industry association that exclusively represents the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Its members come from all areas of this sector and are, mostly owner led, medium-sized IT-enterprises. In the association, long established IT enterprises meet with young start-ups to discuss their common interests. Thereby, the association represents the interests of more than 2.000 medium-sized IT-enterprises in Germany with a sales volume of several billion Euros.

SEQUA

SEQUA is a development organisation operating worldwide. We promote the development of the private sector and its membership organisations as well as education, training and further qualification. their programmes and projects are being financed by both, public and private funds. SEQUA is a non-profit company. It is Germany‘s top business membership organisations (DIHK, ZDH, BDA, BDI) and GIZ that are SEQUA‘s shareholders.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (German: Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung), abbreviated BMZ, is a cabinet-level ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Ministry works to encourage economic development within Germany and in other countries through international cooperation and partnerships. It cooperates with international organizations involved in development including the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and the United Nations.

The German Agency for International Cooperation or (GIZ) is an international enterprise owned by the German Federal Government, operating in many fields across more than 130 countries. As a federal enterprise, they support the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ offers demand-driven, tailor-made and effective services for sustainable development. GIZ operates in many fields: economic development and employment promotion, governance and democracy, security, reconstruction, peace-building and civil conflict transformation, food security, health and basic education, environmental protection, resource conservation, and climate change mitigation.

Invest for Jobs is the brand of the Special Initiative on Training and Job Creation for addressing German, European and African companies, universities, chambers and associations as well as NGOs. The aim of the Special Initiative is to remove obstacles to investment in African partner countries, facilitate investment and thereby create more and better local employment opportunities.
